Are your students disengaged, even when you’re covering all the “right” standards?
Do you feel stuck trying to “fit” creativity into a rigid curriculum?
Are you constantly balancing test prep with the deeper learning you wish you could do?
STEAM+ Arts Integration: Insights and Practical Applications is the book behind the movement.
This powerful anthology—used in courses like the University of San Diego’s STEAM and the Arts in Education—offers real-world frameworks, case studies, and classroom-ready tools for educators who want to elevate equity, creativity, and student agency.
🔥 Whether you're just starting your STEAM journey or ready to go deeper, this book bridges theory and practice with clarity and heart.
Your students saw themselves in every lesson—and lit up because of it?
You didn’t have to choose between rigor and relevance?
STEAM was the path to more equitable, imaginative, and joyful learning?
“This session reframed how I think about teaching science. I finally felt like I could make it mine—and make it matter.”

Educator. Author. Catalyst for Creative, Justice-Centered Learning.
Dr. Jacqueline Cofield is an award-winning educator, researcher, and founder of Cultured Arts Consulting. With over two decades of experience across K–12 classrooms, universities, and museums, she helps educators and institutions reimagine teaching at the intersection of arts, equity, and innovation.
Her work is grounded in the belief that the “A” in STEAM isn’t just about art—it’s about ancestry, aesthetics, and agency. A former science teacher turned interdisciplinary leader, Jacqueline trains educators to design learning experiences that are culturally responsive, imagination-rich, and deeply engaging.
She has collaborated with the Whitney Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Columbia University, and districts across the U.S. and abroad to bring the STEAM+ framework to life.
Whether she’s leading a workshop, curating a curriculum, or moderating a panel, Jacqueline is driven by one question:
What would education look like if we led with creativity, not compliance?
